REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Shift Supervisor

SUPERVISES: N/A

WORKING HOURS:

This is an hourly position. The incumbent is expected to work the necessary hours to meet the needs of a 24 hour establishment.

SUMMARY:

Cleans public and office areas of casino on a preset schedule. Job assignments are by sections. The facility is divided into cleaning areas or sections. Skycity auckland poker room. The incumbent will performs other cleaning jobs under direction of the Shift Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cleans assigned section: Dusts and cleans glass, ceramic, vinyl, wood, and metal surfaces of fixtures and slot machines as outlined in section assignments.
2. Empties trash receptacles and clean inside of receptacles as needed.
3. Follows cycle cleaning procedures.
4. Monitors the floor or other assigned area(s)
5. Vacuums and picks-up all trash in assigned area(s).
6. Cleans entryways, and surrounding areas.
7. Responsible for equipment, so as to protect it from damage and store it to prevent its loss.
8. Utilizes equipment (i.e. mops, buckets, extension cords, etc.) in a manner that is mindful of guest safety.
9. Washes windows and mirrors using correct procedures.
10. Empties trash according to the environmental method of disposal or holding in specific containers for pick-up.
11. Commits to the Team R.O.C.K. Philosophy.
12. Acts as a role model and always present oneself as a credit to River Rock Casino and encourages others to do the same.
13. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

SUPERVISES: N/A

WORKING HOURS:

This is an hourly position. The incumbent is expected to work the necessary hours to meet the needs of a 24 hour establishment.

SUMMARY:

The Events and Promotions Coordinator provides support to execute all Casino promotions, special events, onsite and offsite, along with general marketing functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Facilitates coordination of all onsite/offsite promotions and events.
2. Coordinates with offsite event representatives; arranges site walk-through and venue planning details.
3. Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and completion of each offsite job folder and follows the 'Event Checklist'
4. Requisitions and coordinates the delivery of event materials (i.e., tables, chairs, signage, food, promo items, decorations, etc.) and ensure that each event is setup according to specification.
5. Assists the Events and Promotions Manager in establishing contacts in the marketplace.
6. Assists in preparation of cost estimates for related marketing, advertising and event costs.
7. Performs public relations duties on the casino floor (i.e. meets and takes photos of winners) and at off-site events (i.e. greets visitors and photographs event).
8. Works closely with warehouse department and other departments to ensure all materials are ready for each event/promotion.
9. Assists in performing research and preparation of proposals for special events.
10. Provides Marketing staff with updates and details regarding each event.
11. Coordinates and works with all departments to set up promotions (i.e. Food & Beverage, Slots, Table Games, etc.).
12. Commits to the Team R.O.C.K. Philosophy.
